DKA Aerospace Shines at IFSA Global EXPO 2025
DKA Aerospace just wrapped up a standout debut at the APEX/IFSA Global EXPO 2025, held September 9–11 at the Long Beach Convention Center. It was a dynamic three days showcasing innovation, collaboration, and the future of inflight service — and DKA made its presence felt.
Key Highlights
- First Appearance at IFSA for DKA
- This year marked DKA’s first time exhibiting at IFSA Global Expo. The booth (Booth 836) spotlighted both the company’s XT Series Meal Carts and the full line of standard units.
- XT3.0: Lightest Full-Size Cart
- The XT3.0 was officially unveiled in April 2025 at AIX in Hamburg, making it the newest entry in DKA’s XT series. It has been making waves as the lightest full-size meal cart on the market, with the full-size version weighing just 14.8 kg (32.6 lb) and the half-size version at 9.6 kg (21.2 lb).
- Finalist for the APEX/IFSA Innovation Award – Best Cabin
- The XT2.5+ meal cart was named a finalist in the Best Cabin category of the 2025 APEX/IFSA Innovation Awards. This recognition reflects DKA’s commitment to design excellence and solving real operational challenges on board.

What Set DKA Apart
- Design Meets Function
- Visitors commented on how DKA’s carts combine practical durability with thoughtful ergonomics. The new XT Series integrates features geared toward crew comfort, ease of use, and maintainability.
- Trusted Braking System
- Airlines also took note of DKA’s braking system, which has remained unchanged since its introduction — a testament to its proven safety, reliability, and dependability. Because braking systems are a top maintenance expense and critical to onboard safety, DKA’s robust and field-tested design continues to set it apart from competitors.
- Strong Engagement & Visibility
- Exhibiting at IFSA allowed DKA to showcase products while also engaging directly with airline customers, suppliers, and industry peers. The feedback and interest reaffirmed that the company’s direction — lighter, more efficient, and cabin-centric — is resonating across the industry.
Outcomes & What’s Next
- DKA continues to build momentum for its XT line: both the XT2.5+ and XT3.0 are firmly established as leading options for airlines focused on optimizing cabin service.
- While ANA was selected as the winner of the Innovation Award, DKA is proud and grateful to have been recognized as a finalist. This acknowledgment reinforces the company’s dedication to advancing inflight service solutions.
- Post-Expo, DKA is poised to follow up on leads, refine customer feedback, and explore new partnerships informed by valuable conversations at IFSA.
